ATLANTA, GA – Today, Georgia Retailers announced that Shelby Dotson has been named Executive Director, effective immediately. Dotson has been a driving force in the organization since 2017, playing a critical role in advancing strategic initiatives, strengthening industry partnerships, and expanding the organization’s reach.
Over the past eight years, Dotson has focused on growing the organization, deepening member engagement, and advancing advocacy efforts. Her leadership has been central to elevating Georgia Retailers’ profile and establishing the association as a trusted voice for retailers across the state.
“Shelby has demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead with vision, professionalism, and dedication to the retail industry,” said Glen Wilkins, Chairman of Georgia Retailers. “She brings a proven record of leadership, deep industry knowledge, and strong relationships with stakeholders across Georgia. Her appointment ensures continuity and positions Georgia Retailers for continued growth and success.”
As Executive Director, Dotson will oversee all operations of the association, guide strategic initiatives, and focus on advancing the association’s mission of supporting a thriving retail economy through effective advocacy and industry collaboration.
